About us
As a small company we offer a personal service. Our over 300 completed projects have been predominantly, though not exclusively, within a 30 mile radius of Chippenham, Wiltshire.
Around half the schemes have been designed and then constructed by our directly employed workforce supplemented if necessary by specialist sub contractors and craftsmen. A large number have been of an historic nature, being either listed buildings or within a conservation area.
Where only our architectural design service has been used this is quite often because our relatively small building team is fully committed. Sometimes a client has an established relationship with a contractor or does not progress the scheme to the construction phase.
Whatever the project and whether we design or design and build our philosophy remains the same:
- Respect the existing building or site and its location
- Provide a practical achievable solution within a budget
- Think long term, the building should be useful and constructed to last
- Integrate the design and construction processes as much as possible
